I am a Belgian digital artist/photographer based in NYC, USA.

As a commercial photographer I have covered editorial and advertising work that runs the gamut of still life, fashion and celebrity photography.

My exploration of the virtual world is about crossbreeding digital capture with non-photographic software so as to generate a hybrid and mind-altering visual, a digital rendering that distorts reality and demystifies iconic images as imprinted in one’s memory.
My imagery is a blend of humorous cultural inspiration and commentary filtered through the alchemy of algorithms. The process has been referred to as Digi-Pop, a synthesis of Neo-Pop and Glitch Art.

In parallel my approach to traditional photography has always been about revealing the passing of time within an oddly shaped and jagged edged world where sudden mishaps accelerate the process as memory and fantasy are triggered.
Do not "look at how beautiful it is" but "look at what a beautiful thing it has become" and recognize as well as visualize the nature of the metamorphosis.

Both my visions of the physical and the virtual are about confronting the present and exploring the past while the future is left to the imagination

“They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself”
Andy Warhol

As the structure of my imagery is unconventional it suits itself to be exhibited in amalgamation with unorthodox materials such as metallic paper, wood, resin, plastic or canvas so as to create a frame without a frame.
